January 8, 2003 - After two busy weeks and 5 more hunters we are now totaling 13 lions treed and 12 lions harvested.  One hunter passed up the lion that was treed for him so he could wait for a bigger one.  On Christmas eve, Joe Antista from Telluride, CO harvested an extremely large tom.  What a great Christmas present.  Our two hunters the first week of January, Dale Edwards from Illinois and Vince Peisert from Missouri both harvested nice lions.  Congratulations to all of our hunters.

March 11, 2003 - Over the past three months we have harvested 25 lions for 30 hunters.  In the past two months we have guided PGA golfer Frank Lickliter on his first lion.  Guide Johnnie Hamilton put Jim Maki, Chad Yuber from Missouri and Cory Cavenaugh on cats for 3 successful hunts.

Late Season Archery Deer - Colorado

December 22, 2002 - Out of seven archery deer hunters we harvested 1 mule deer and had 1 buck missed.  All archery hunters saw Pope & Young deer.  Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative for the hunts, high winds and a less active than normal rut made for a tough hunt.  Although the harvest numbers were weak, all hunters were happy to have seen Pope & Young deer and several were lucky enough to see bucks in the high 180's.  Congratulations to Dave Dunbar from Indiana on his successful hunt.
